Payment should be made at the time of each lesson. We accept cash, Venmo, PayPal and checks - made out to the teacher’s name. Students that arrive late for a lesson will still be charged full price and the teacher is not expected to go beyond the normal lesson time. Lessons may be prepaid in advance, but no refunds are provided for any prepaid lessons.
Payments can be made via the links at the bottom of the page.
Cancellation of a lesson should be made at least 24 hours prior to the lesson.
Cancellations less than 24 hours prior to the lesson should be paid for at full price unless a makeup lesson can be arranged at the convenience of the student and the teacher.
All scheduling and cancellations should be made directly with your teacher via their personal phone by text, phone call, or voicemail. Please contact your teacher if there are any questions about your lessons.
We usually have recitals throughout year for students if the teacher feels they are ready to perform and if the student wishes to participate. There is a $10 participation fee per family to cover expenses to put on the recital. We use photos from our recitals for promotional purposes.
PRACTICING EXPECTATIONS AND INCENTIVES
We strongly recommend the student has a suitable instrument they can practice on. The teacher will discuss the goals and expectations for each student. The teacher will provide practicing suggestions to the students and parents. We provide prize incentives for the younger students if they meet their predetermined goals. There are no progress guarantees made for the students. Most students will make great progress as long as the student follows the instructions of the teacher.
